Tax Roll Certification for 2020
Tax Roll Certification by the Lane County Assessor is now scheduled for Tuesday, October 6th, 2020.
Due to improvements to the regional data sharing system over the last couple years, all data sourced from the Assessor will continue to be refreshed nightly and all 2019 property values and taxes will continue to be updated and available each day. 2020 property values and taxes will be available in RLID in the afternoon on Wednesday, October 7th.
Other RLID data, such as scanned documents from Lane County Deeds and Records (nightly), regional addresses, taxlots, zoning, boundaries, districts, and other spatial information (weekly) will continue to be updated on the normal schedule.
Increased Taxes Balance Due Availability
The close collaboration between Lane County Assessment and Taxation and the RLID Team at Lane Council of Governments allowed us to make a significant improvement a couple years ago. Taxes Balance Due will remain available to subscribers during the month leading up to tax roll certification and will not have the typical 1-2 weeks of downtime seen in years past!
The Taxes Balance Due application will be unavailable during the following tentative time window to allow for loading of the newly certified tax roll data.

Now Available: 2019 Commercial Sales!
Commercial sales records for 2019 have been loaded. The Commercial Comp Sales Application can query commercial properties sold between 1997 and 2019 in Lane County. Check it out here: https://www.rlid.org/comp_sales/commercial_comps.cfm

The local and global community is dealing with an unprecedented situation. The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting individuals, families, businesses, and communities. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by the pandemic, particularly those putting their lives on the line to care for the ill.
RLID is operated by Lane Council of Governments (LCOG) on behalf of five regional government partners. LCOG has gone to great lengths to ensure the safety of all employees, including rapidly deploying technology to allow employees to work remotely. RLID will continue to be supported throughout this crisis. Data will continue to be refreshed, support is available, and problems will be resolved as quickly as possible.
Please note that many government offices have been closed to foot traffic.

2019 Tax Roll Certified
The 2019 Lane County Tax Roll certified at 3:40 pm, Friday, October 4th, 2019.
Assessor data in RLID is now refreshed and reflecting certified values.
The Taxes Balance Due application is available and reflecting the newly certified 2019 tax roll data.
According to the Lane County Assessor, printable tax statements for 2019 will not be available online until October 12th and paper statements will be mailed on October 18th.
Now Available: Lane County Assessment & Taxation Ratio Reports
Ratio Reports are now available in RLID for the years 2005 to 2019. The Ratio Reports reflect the process used to measure changes in real market values to keep current with the market. This application allows users to download Chapter and Addendum documents to view individual report details.

RLID Maps Pro Printing Bug Fix
Those of you using RLID Maps Pro with the Add Data button (such as to add FEMA flood plain data) will have noticed the bug that did not allow printing. You may be happy to know that this bug has been fixed!
Data Updated to Title Case
The RLID team has been working on a cosmetic improvement of the way text is displayed in RLID. We have eliminated most cases of ALL CAPS formatting in favor of a Title Case format. This should be apparent throughout RLID starting on April 19th. Let us know what you think!
On 3/19/2019, the Political Districts Section in the Detailed Property Report (DPR), had four new items added:
- Emerald PUD Board Zone
- Heceta PUD Board Zone
- Soil Water Cons. Dist/Zone (previously under Service Providers Section)
- Emerald People’s Utility District (previously under Service Providers Section)
